    Cross hatch marks at one end. There is a rectangular opening on
    the outside edge, leading to a hole into the piece. This is not a
    traditional flute or oliphant.

    This is a piece of prestigious and royal art once housed in the
    palace of an Oba of the Yoruba.  This is an authentice old ivory
    Yoruba instrument with a gorgeous aged amber patina.
