    This drum served to fortunetelling in weddings and
    burial ceremonies.   The fortuneteller hits on this drum
    the rhythm to songs which initiate the oracle.  

    This is an old piece with a nice brilliant shinny brown-
    black patina.  One of the most beautiful slit gongs I
    have ever seen.
