    Containers like this are known as Akarum among the Turkana
    societies. They look like gourds, but are made of very thin wood.
    Much of the art from the Turkana region are pieces of everyday
    objects made from wood, leather and gourds.

    Milk jugs like these play a vital role in these societies. They are
    carried everywhere as containers are of one of the most
    posessions for their everyday foods.
